Diesel Dual fuel system provides a solution for both the problems of high pollution and increasing cost of diesel fuel by reducing both the problems to a great extent. It involves an alternative fuel( Natural gas) technology which comes at an economical price compared to other fuel technologies like electric battery, hydrogen fuel etc. The Dual fuel technology helps in reducing Diesel burning inside a diesel engine by substituting a big portion of Diesel fuel burning with Natural gas burning. For better understanding, if a diesel engine use 100 liters of diesel in 1 hour for its operation, with the help of Dual fuel technology the same engine can run on 30 liters of diesel and 70 liters of Natural gas for the same operation. Thus, it reduces the diesel burning and consequently reduces the harmful exhaust emission and making it highly economic to use.
